1. Who we are

2. What data we collect
- Startup applications: the founder's name, email, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, country and languages; startup data (name, website, category, business model, metrics such as users, customers, CAC, conversion, retention and revenue); the pitch deck or video submitted.
- Partner requests (VCs, investors, M&A): name, corporate email, institution, partner type and message.
- Browsing data: IP address, device and browser type and pages visited, through an analytics tool that does not use cookies (Vercel Analytics) and server logs.
We do not collect sensitive data. Please do not send it in free-text fields or attachments.
3. Why we use it and on what legal basis
When the data protection law that applies to you requires a legal basis (such as the GDPR, the UK GDPR or Brazil's LGPD), we rely on the following:

4. Confidentiality of startup information
The financial information, metrics, projections, pitch decks and other materials you send are used exclusively for evaluation and selection by the committee. We do not disclose, sell or share them with third parties without the founders' prior and express consent, except where required by law. Submitting an application does not transfer the startup's intellectual property (product, brand, source code or algorithms) to Campeão. This is a non-exclusive confidentiality commitment, valid while the information has not become public by other means.
6. International transfers
We are a United States company and our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. If the law of your country requires safeguards for international data transfers, we use the mechanisms it provides, such as standard contractual clauses.
7. How long we keep it
- Applications that are not approved: up to 24 months after the decision.
- Approved applications: during the program and for the period required by the contract and by law.
- Partner contacts: up to 24 months without interaction.
- Log data: only for as long as needed for security and diagnostics.
After that, we delete or anonymize the data.
8. Security
Encryption in transit and at rest, access restricted by role and providers with recognized certifications. No system is completely immune: in case of an incident with a relevant risk, we will notify the authorities and the affected people as the law requires.
9. Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection to processing and portability of your data, and withdraw consent at any time. Write to legal@campeaoaccelerator.com. We answer within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of your country.
11. Children
This website is aimed at adult founders and investors. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
12. Changes
We may update this policy. The current version is always on this page, with its date. Relevant changes will be communicated by email to people with an ongoing request.
13. Applicable law
This policy is governed by the law applicable to the controller, without prejudice to the rights that the data protection law of your country gives you.
